Understanding Tarp Sizes

NOTE: Please note that tarp sizes listed on our site refer to the "cut size," which is the dimension of the material before hemming. Finished tarps are typically 2-4 inches shorter on each side due to the folded and reinforced edges. The original material width (e.g., 61" for vinyl, 144" for poly) can also affect the final dimensions. Disaster Relief Tarps

Individually packaged FEMA-style self-help tarps for disasters and regular use.  (Complies with 2020 FEMA Spec)

  • The tarpaulin kit is (1) 20 ft. x 25 ft. tarp, with (2) 100 ft., polyester ropes. The corners and edges are reinforced and finished with non-corrosive grommets at a minimum spacing of 3 ft.
  • These tarps are made from fire retardant woven polyethylene at IAW Class A ASTM E84-11 standard, and UV resistance: 80% after 200 hrs. per ASTM D7238-06.
  • The FEMA style 20 ft. x 25 ft. tarp is designed for temporary shelter and as an emergency roof covering solution. Tarps are ideal for indoor and outdoor equipment protection and are also used to protect windshields on vehicles, topsoil or seed in planting zones, and many other applications.
