Order Returns and Exchanges (Non-Defective)
Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date based on official carrier tracking information. To initiate a return or exchange, customers must contact TarpAmerica.com Customer Services to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions. Only clean, unused, and unopened products in their original condition are eligible for return or exchange.
Customers have the option to use a shipping return label provided by us, or they can choose to ship the item back at their own expense. If we issue a return shipping label, the cost will be deducted from the return or exchange, along with a 20% restocking fee.
Please note: For orders over $300 that received free shipping, the original shipping cost will also be charged, in addition to the return shipping and 20% restocking fee.
All returned items must include their original documentation or copies thereof. Items returned without a Return Authorization Number (RAN) will not be processed, and refunds will not be issued. TarpsAmerica.com reserves the right to inspect items and determine their eligibility for return, refund, or exchange.
The following items are NOT eligible for return, refund, and/or exchange:
- Items that have been used or altered in any way
- Items damaged by usage or external factors, including weather
- Custom & special products (with possible 1-2” variance from requested size)
- Items damaged by improper application (excessive pressure is not advisable)
- Items delivered more than 30 days ago
- Items delivered or scheduled to be delivered beyond the customer’s communicated timeframe
- Variations in color brightness, temperature, or tone compared to online product images or samples
Refund Process: Upon initiating a return, you can expect to receive your refund within four weeks. This timeframe includes:
- Transit time for the return to reach us (5 to 10 business days).
- Processing time once we receive the return (3 to 5 business days).
- Bank processing time for the refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment. Credit issued to credit cards will reflect on statements based on billing cycles processed by the bank or card issuer.
