Black 95% Shade Cloth Mesh Tarp by ShadeMax® is made from high-strength woven polypropylene. Shade Cloth Mesh Tarpaulins are ideal for windbreaking, privacy screens/fencing, patio screens, pool coverings, hail protection, and shade from the sun while allowing air to flow through them. These mesh shade cloths are breathable tarps, also known as windscreens or overspray screens, allowing light passage while providing a tight containment. Our shade cloth includes 2" reinforced webbing, rustproof stainless steel grommets, and internal center seams.

Hoping and praying

Purchased the tarp to cover a metal garage roof, turned into a wood shop. Time will tell how well it can hold up. Fingers crossed.

Had been buying those grey 9mil tarps from harbor freight that would last 2-3 months if the wind didn't blow much here in the desert. The cost of four of those tarps was the same cost as your tarp and looks like it will last much longer.
